The story: The "Maldive Victory" has been a freighter, which sank on Friday the 13th of February 1981. The ship hit the reef of the airport island Hulhule and sank straight away. Fortunately there were no casualties.

It is a freighter of 110m length and lays upright on a sandy bottom in 35 meters. Unfortunately a lot of divers took "souvenirs" from underwater, so that the cargo is quite "empty", but nevertheless the wreck is nicely grown in the meanwhile and offers living space for a wide range of marine life. Because of the depth and the possibility of strong current, this is a dive only for experienced divers.
